Angie McMahon first came onto my radar at the beginning of 2024, as I was diving into new music and seeking out fresh voices in the industry. Her unique blend of indie rock and soulful introspection immediately stood out, compelling me to explore her earlier work and follow her evolving career.

Her debut album Salt, released in July 2019, was a significant milestone, debuting at #5 on the ARIA Charts and showcasing her distinct style. The album's success was bolstered by a live extended play released later that year.

In June 2023, McMahon released "Saturn Returning," marking her return to music after a three-year hiatus. This was followed by "Letting Go" and the announcement of her second studio album, Light, Dark, Light Again, set for release on October 27, 2023. This new album continues to explore her signature blend of emotional depth and innovative soundscapes.

In February 2024, McMahon announced her "Making It Through Tour," scheduled for May and June 2024.
